Ayurveda Campus in Kirtipur is a campus of Tribhuvan University's Institute of Medicine. According to the campus's own website, it is the only centre for higher Ayurveda education in Nepal. It began as Ayurveda Vidyapeeth in 1972 A.D. and teaches the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) as well as postgraduate Ayurveda programmes. Its students complete clinical and internship rotations at the Naradevi Ayurveda Hospital and the National Ayurveda Research and Training Centre. The campus is a teaching institution rather than a walk-in hospital, so visitors should contact it first.
