Pulchowk Campus is the central campus of the Institute of Engineering (IOE), Tribhuvan University, located in Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Established in 1972, it is the second-oldest engineering institution in Nepal and the first to offer bachelor's-level engineering degrees in the country, according to Tribhuvan University. The campus offers Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer and Mechanical engineering, as well as Architecture, together with master's and doctoral programmes. Admission to its undergraduate programmes is through the IOE entrance examination, one of the most competitive in Nepal.
